How much has mylot changed since you joined?

The obvious changes for me is almost the same as you noticed when it comes to the quality of the discussions. I can say the discussions have improved dramatically The thing that I liked the most was GoAskAlice. I loved the site more because she has appeared and is always willing to answer our calls

I have been here for a bout a year now and it has changed quite a bit since I joined. Since I joined, myLot has added the tasks and the quizzes. There have also been a lot of my friends leave. I have noticed that the members are increasing everyday though.

like you since i have joined they have brought in tasks and i think the population has grown about 60,000 or more since i joined too!

Hi sagnik42, I have been a member here for about a year as well. I have seen many friends come and go both old and new. I guess the biggest changes that I have seen here since I have been a member were the myLot tasks and most recently and probably the best change is the introduction of the myLot admin. I have found the myLot admins discussions very good and the changes that have been made to tweak myLot are most welcomed and I am sure there will be more to come.

Hi sagnik, I joined in November 2008, and I go have never visited this site a few days after it I came back and made the discussion, responding to discussion but do not always comment because I did not have a fast network. I felt I was not good qualities when first joining, then I disappeared a few months. Then, I look back at my email address because I forgot that I had joined this site. That time there was no tasks, quizzes, and people free to marking -,+,! without any restriction. Then came the tasks in March 2009, and shortly after that there are called quizzes. I am curious about the tasks, then I do. Some time after that, people complain because their ratings fall for no reason. Then myLot change the rating should only be done eleven times, and myLot also limit for uploading photo.

Its Very Easy Question For Me... I Joined MyLot Only Week Ago,So It Didn't Changed Yet For Me... :)

I joined myLot in December 2006 when there were only about 30,000 members. I left myLot in August 2007 and returned here five months ago. When I started myLot there were no stars or ratings. Most members appeared to be very active. There were always lots and lots of good discussions with the majority of discussions gaining over 100 responses and quite a number gaining a few hundred. Another change, brought about because of members trying to cheat the system by copying and pasting, was the rule of not being able to copy and paste before reaching 500 posts - very welcome! Some members have suggested additions to myLot, such as chatrooms and other things, butI don't want to see additions. I would prefer to see it remain a place to DISCUSS - a unique site - not a copybook of other sites. Recently we have seen GoAskAlice (from Admin) taking an active role, listening to myLotters and fixing many of the little problems. Alice is a welcome addition and a big help.

um..really not that terribly much,i think. they added tasks,and quizzes,and more updating on the homepage. i joined when there was only 70,000 people,so..a lot more discussions available. i don't think you could add blogs yet when i joined either..that was quite a while back to remember.

The very stark difference that I see now is the voice of myLot administration through GoAskAlice as a representative. That has to be one of the coolest things ever since I've been here for 3 years and running. I hope the site will have more coolest changes and developments, and if possible, better earnings too. Because those extras have certainly helped me into saving up more.

For the worse: Some of my favorite people have left or are very rarely here. For the better: Admin is now listening to us and speaking to us. Notifications mostly seem to be fixed. New things - tasks and quizzes - I'm not interested in them, but some people are. Fewer trolls - I haven't seen troll activity all month.

There are alot more people on Mylot than there used to be when I first started on here. The graphics on the boards are lovely compared to what they used to be on here. I love to see a site evolve. It has been a work in progress and it still has a ways to go with the difficulties we have been having but I am sure they will do it up well.

I have joined this site just four months back---and then i havent seen any major changes but the GoAskAlice is really doing a good job----i have seen quiet a handful of times where she removed the repeated stuff and some one word responses by the new mylotters (which doesnt constitute to the discussion in any way)---coz there were some repeated responses by the same person(this would happen when they repeatedly hit the post comment or when we try to add an new line before the post has been completely added in the discussion. She is really working hard to keep the current discussions and on the whole ---mylot tidy and i appreciate her for that. These were the changes i witnessed in mylot--coming to the changes around me which are concerned to me---A lot have changed in terms of friends,Interaction and i'm quiet happy with these major changes which i was missing intially when i was a newbie here.great day.

I have joined myLot, one and half month ago. And truly speaking there is nothing changed here. almost nothing.

since i joined this site mylot has not changed much.when i joined i found the same quality of posts and discussions as it is now......the reason behind this is that i have joined this site only 4 days ago

When I start in October of 2006, we didn't have many members. maybe around 40,000. people didn't rush to start own discussion, rather responded to others. Most discussions used to have over 100 to 1000 responds.... We used to be paid for unlimited pictures uploaded including pictures on personal portfolio No stars, no rating system...no emotions, no news, no tasks, no blogs, no quizzes.... A lot to talk about. I used to have more fun...

it's not so lucrative anymore. when I joined I used to get about $10 a month, on the same sort of usage as I have now. now it takes a good three months at least to build up the same sort of amount.

Well I joined about a year ago and other than those obvious changes such as tasks and quizzes I feel that myLot itself hasn't actually changed that much. What I would say is that my approach to is has changed and I tend to go looking for decent discussions via peoples profiles rather than just responding to those which are new under my interests, because there often is a multitude to generic discussions if you do this where as profile hopping leads to a whole wealth of discussions which may not appear in those discussions you like. So I would say it's my approach has changed rather than myLot itself.

I've been here for six months. In that time there have not been a lot of changes that I have observed on the site. I know that in the time that I've spent here the population has grown significantly and that I've been able to make some great friendships. The thing that I most enjoy doing during the time that I spend on here is to respond to the discussions that my friends have started because I know that those discussions have the potential to go on and on.

I registered myLot 5 months ago but never use it. When my sister told me to join mylot under her, i go to this site and i realized that i was already registered 5 months ago. It was last week, then I used to post comments last week until now. Its a great fun to be here. I think there's a lot of changes in here, some members are asking why is it that there is no tasks anymore.

I am a new member and it seems to me that myLot has changed alot just going by what you and the other long-time members are saying. Good topic! I'm liking myLot so far and I will be around to see any further changes to myLot.
