I think almost all of us has passed almost 10 long years of our school days. Many of us have sweet memories of the school days. Some of us remember the sad days of the school as well. We just learnt the basics there. But do you remember the first day of the school when you were not more than a kid? Who took you to the school? How was you feeling on the first day of your school? Well we must remember the first day of our 10 year long schooling career. Being very honest I can say that I remember a few glimpses of the first day of my school. Do your remember it ?

I remember my first day in school during my 2nd year in secondary school because it was sort of silly because I can't seem to find my name in any of the sections in the school. I went to the registrar and asked why I can't find my name since I have completed the enrollment procedures. Then they asked for my name and said that I was actually listed on the first section. Silly me because I never actually looked at the first section because only those students who are the so-called "cream of the crop" who are placed there and I guess I didn't really consider myself that good back then. And when I was in the classroom, I was so shy because most of the students in the first section looked down at me because I was like an alien there since most of them already know each other.

On my first day in school I cried when my mom finally left. I was wearing a red sleeveless shirt, and I could remember the other kids looking at me as I walked into the room. Later that day a classmate gave me a love letter telling me that I was his queen. LOL. :-)

I still remember it. My mom would always go with me to school. At first I cried when she left me. I was not used not seeing her but when I made friends and enjoyed playing with other kids it was all well. I would play as a teacher if my teacher would walk out of the room. =)) But the most memorable for me was my first day of second year college. My friend and I went to the wrong room stayed their for hours and then left for the next subject. We never realized it until we were curious why have do they have different faces. HAHAHA.

Nope, I don't remember my first day at school although In my defence it was over 30 years ago. My earliest memory of school was that there was a toy car that you can sit in and drive, it actually had a full size steering wheel. The reason I remember it and is my earliest memory as a girl in my class was sick in it whilst I was waiting for my turn. It's the most stupid memory to have but it's urually the stupid things which stick in my mind.

I really don't remember anything from it. I was barely four years old when I started to go to school, and I am turning 21 this March. It was a very long time ago.

...Hi there sanjeevsingh, I can remember the first day of going to school because, it was the first time that I was away from my mother. My mother was like my security blanket and she left me in that room with all these people, even though they were my size, I considered them aliens. My two cousins were in the same room and I considered them aliens as well, I had been taken out of my comfort zone. I wanted to go home. But after a while the teacher got me to stop crying and to do some kind of baby activity, I complied. Must have done well as they skipped me from kindergarten to second grade and I never looked back, graduated high school at 16. Still hated the first hours of my first day of school, but grew to love school as I got older, still do. Take care.

For me I spent more time in school then I would have cared to. I was too young to remember when I started going somewhere else during the day, but I was four when I started actual schooling. At the time they didn't have a pre-school program, so I ended up going into a kidnagarden class where I spent two years. I don't think I had much of a problem being seperated, because I'd gone to TLC for theropy for two years. Though I remember before that, my mom used to tell me I was difficult. I wouldn't let anyone near me unless she was in the room.

Oh, what a nice question! Haha! I remember my first day in school was very terrible one. I am now 30 years old but I still remember that day when I was still 6 years old. I was crying then. The reason that I was crying is, it's not because I will miss my parents, or I will miss my toys just like any other child's reason, the reason is--I am being compared to my classmate! My performance is being compared to my classmates! My sisters who were outstanding in academic performance were pressuring me to outsmart the topnotcher in our Grade 1 class.. and that made me feel mad, my first day in school.

It's a funny thing that this part has come to the stage where I can't distinguish it from dream and reality, and most of all I don't really care anymore. I just remembered (hopefully it's true) that the first time I went to school with my mother, I quickly ran away from the teacher and crying to my mother. It's pretty funny when I think about it. How much can a man change in just 14 years?

Being the youngest child, I can consider myself as a mama's boy since my father left us for his work abroad. Even I was pampered a lot, I was trained to act like a big kid. As a proof, I know how to read and write at the age of five. I can still remember my first day of class, i can remember the feeling of fear to be left alone with other kids which I am not familiar, and fear not to be treated well by my teacher. I can still reminisce my first attraction with opposite gender. I can never forget my polo tucked inside my shorts. Hahaha. What an unforgetable memories which I can share with my own child in the near future.

Honestly it is very difficult to recollect much of my first day at school specifically. All I can remember is that I cried a lot when my parents left me in class and went away.Thereafter everything seems blank. But I can remember many of my school days in nursery but not exactly much of what my first day at school was.
