why we chat with unknowns on social network sites ...isn't it wastage of time.??

hiiiiiii.......i am a computer engineering student..i think lots of students nd people use orkut, facebook and some other social web sites...actually i also use them a alot.. a question is arises in my mind..why we use them?? why we not talk..with those people who r around us..???? what r the need to waste time in chatting with unknowns,??? how we trust those people those we never see??? in compare to those who r our friends nd knowns from lot of years.....

I think its because when we chat we share our thoughts, feeling,& the other person is not concerned with our face or anything but with our thinking, as we feel good as we know that someone is with me not because of my face but because of me.& those people around us we are not sure that they are with us because of our freindship or just using us. & about trusting unknown person ,i think we trust them after a lot of long time chatting with them.

ohh..thanks dear....i fully agree with u...But u know the cyber crime is increased in india as well as all over the world,,,,,so it should be stoped shared our full information with some unknowns...but some people share ....
nwys,,,,some time we attrach the unknown people more then our known..so if thy hurt us...its pain alot..:(
