Many people still doubt the existence of God, what do you think makes them doubts, is it because God is invisible? or God didn't answer their prayer, or because they don't think God is important in life?

It all depends on how one defines faith.. Doubt is an effect of lacking in realization and faith. To prove that God do exist, we may ask simple questions that pertains to our daily living such: 1. Who gives breath of life? 2. Who answers our prayers? 3. Who gives us hope when we are down? 4. Who rescues us from problems? 5. Who gives us food? It may appear to others that nature as it is just provides us our existence but where did nature came from? Everything in this world definitely emanated from SOMEONE out there BIG..

Yeah, everything that we have in this world is created from someone that's powerful, someone that's invisible and who look after us. I think it's just because human can be very proud and wants to have an answer to their questions. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your weekends!

Hey, careguarden, I think all the reasons you listed are possible. Firstly, in my country - China, we are taught that the world is physical completely from childhood. There is no God, no spirit, no ghost. And education also guided us that superstition is equal to religion. Educated people here are proud that they don't believe in nothing! In another way, people who have religion belief mean they're in low-education, or have strange thought. Secondly, we usually cannot see God, for someone who don't believe in God, our prayer sounds a person who speak to air. And for Christians, yes, sometimes we haven't gotten any reply after praying to God for long. That makes us doubt. But I think many Christians have such experience. In fact, we don't leave God in this situation. After this period, we believe in God more. This is the necessary part in our life! Generally speaking, we can find more reasons if you'd like to. But once we find God's reality, we won't leave Him!

Yeah, I understand and agree with you. Having faith and belief in God was usually brought from childhood and environment. In some countries like you've mentioned it could be real hard to have faith in God as people were brought up in different way and adds up with an environment that could not accept that belief and behavior. Does it takes a miracle for those people to see and believe in God, the miracle of faith. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your weekends!

Hi Careguarden! This is definitely an interesting and important subject! There are those who doubt and there are those that have no doubts whatsoever. Why do some doubt? Is it because God is invisible? No, because many things are invisible and we still believe them. Gravity, air, wind, microbes, radio waves, heat, ect. Romans 1:20 (New International Version) 20For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. Is it because God didn't answer their prayer? No, because God answers all sincere prayers according to his will. 1 John 5:14-15 (New International Version) 14This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. Have they taken to time to understand what God's will is? Do they read his instructions found in the Scriptures? Do they even know his name? Do they even care about him? Do they only go to God when they are in trouble? How do you view a person that doesn't know you, doesn't care for you, doesn't listen to you, but just wants things from you? The real reasons why people doubt the existence of God is: 1) Ignorance: they haven't had the opportunity to get to know him or haven't taken the time. 2) They are not humble enough to approach God with the right attitude. They think too much of themselves. They think they are too important. So much so that they think that God should do whatever they want whenever they want. They don't realize what a little piece of dust they are. 3) They don't love him and don't care for him. They don't want to answer to anyone. They want to do whatever they want without having someone else telling them what to do. If someone has honest and sincere questions I am willing to help them work through them. God cares, do we?

Yeah, you're right there are those times where our wishes and prayer was not being answered or not given the way we want it to be and we find it hard to accept that's why we tend to doubt the existence of God. But if we unceasingly pray and trust on Him we will see that everything just happens for a reason. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

The responses I hear/get are along the lines of: *I'm too busy to spend time working out he/she/it is real or not. I will find out when I die. *God wasn't around when {Insert life altering event} happened to help me, so I guess I don't need Him *When God shows his face, I will think about it *Religion is a fundraiser for priests who can't get real jobs. Faith is a big challenge to the fast food, fast product, fast relationship world we are in.

Some people have to see to believe. I believe in God because I have faith in the unknown. I have faith in God because I have had prayers come true. I belive in God. I also have had my doubts and God and I have had this love - hate relationship but it is a relationship. If you want to call god a higher power great but as for me - there is only one god. I think people in general have a fear of the unknown and unless you can touch it, see it or smell it - it doesn't exist. God exist and I see him everyday. I see it in the trees that sway in the wind, I see it in the kindness of a stranger, I see it in the smile on my childs face. God is in everyone of us - you just have to tap in.
