how many computers you have?

I have only one pc.and i think you are right desktop are better than laptop when it comes to movie viewing and gaming.someone might say that for movie use your DVD or blu-ray player and for gaming if you are freak then why not go for ps-3 or Xbox 360.......but for those i can say that they are all standalone devices and cannot be replacement for pc.pc is the one device for entertainment you need not to buy that costly devices and still you can do the things that they can do...so i think ou are write pc is the better way for entertainment than laptop if you are in home.

I have a desktop and a Laptop. But I will use the desktop only in my home. In office also I will use the desktop. But I will carry the laptop to office.

I have two desktops, one for each of the boys for school work first and then the other stuff. I have a laptop for myself and my boyfriend has a laptop for work so he uses mine every once in a while to check things he would otherwise get in trouble for using his work one.

I have only one PC but my dad has 3 computers which 2 PCs (one with 22 inch monitor)and 1 HP notebook. He uses them for business. So I guess a total of 4 computers. I only upgrade my video card when it comes to games ^^

I have 2 laptops and 1 desktop.And I feel that laptop is the best as it is easy to carry as I have travel from one place to other and I can carry it there and work on it.I think it is the best of the two ,ie, laptop and desktop.

I only have a laptop, but it is a large one, 17 in. screen. I enjoy it, because I can go any where in the house and use it. I can sat on the couch in comfort. I have had a desktop they are great too. Happy posting.

I also have the same it is 1 laptop and 1 desktop and I use the laptop most as it is easy to carry anywhere and I don't stay at home most of the time so I prefer to use laptop.But if I have to compare then Desktop takes it to be the best.

I have one desktop. I have always wanted a laptop. My son who works on computers does not speak very well of them. he says they are junk. I guess because they can not be upgraded they way a desktop can. Like upgrading hard drives and memories. He reguardes them as disposable computers. I wonder why they are so expensive then. I still wish to have one as a second computer. But what with upgrading my desktop i cant seem to afford one seeing that they are so expensive.

I have a desktop and a laptop, and I only use the laptop, as it is much more convenient and I can watch tv while I am in here. I have it on a laptop table so I can move it as lose as I can when my chair is reclined and just post away. I have only had laptops for a short time, as I used my desktop everyday, but I finally decided to get a laptop so I can sit in my easy chair and relax at the same time. haha...i have the same number computer as u. one desktop and one laptop. i bought my desktop when i was in the university, so it's my old frined now. the laptop, i bought less than one year ago. hmm, more quicker, after all, it's newer.

i have a laptop and two desktops, roysudeep. the laptop is used only for presentations and to catch of on internet-based work when traveling. the two desktops -- a relatively new model and a three-year old unit is for mainstream work. i use to have five desktops at home for emergency contracts, i call on people to help me out.

I have 1 desktop computer and 1 laptop. I use the desktop as my main machine for doing work on and all the important stuff, because it is the more powerful and a quicker machine. But in the evenings when I am relaxing I tend to lie back and use the laptop rather than sitting at my desk, especiall for doing stuff like myLot and general surfing.

I have 5 computers in my place... 2 desktop PCs, 2 laptop PCs, and an desktop iMac. Really, I like the newest one the best, no matter which it is, but my desktops are rather nice because I have one set up with a projector in my livingroom to watch TV on a massive screen. I like that.

Well... i also have a desktop and a laptop. When i want to relax on my sofa i use my laptop but i still prefer my desktop because as you said the screen is more big, you can play games, download movies e.t.c

We have six working computers at home. My mother, father, brother and I each have a laptop or two and we have a family computer that we use on occassion.
