Time flies really fast. I can still remember the moment I confirmed I was pregnant, the moment my baby was still inside my womb, the moment my baby was born, etc. It's like something just happened yesterday and now he is already 11 months old.
Now my son is learning how to walk, and he can walk more than ten steps now. It's so cute to see him learning something day by day.
Do you still remember the moments when you knew you were pregnant and the moments your babies were born?

Your son is almost to his first birthday - how exciting! Our son is now 11 weeks and already we are amazed how time is flying. I remember my husband and I "trying" for this second child and how it took nearly a year - the wait was so heartbreaking for me. And then we got pregnant it was so great! But then I had health issues - like gestational diabetes - and I had to so many doctors appointments. Everything about the pregnancy was so different from my first one - including delivery. The doctor called me one night as said I had to be induced - that baby needed to come out THAT night. And then I also had a c section that was unexpected. This whole second pregnancy was a roller coaster ride . . . but you know what . . . that's all behind me now (thank goodness) . . . and we have a wonderful son that we are enjoying (and big sister is loving it).

I remember very well the day my doctor told me I was pregnant. I went to the thrift store and bought him a sleeper outfit which I still have. It's so tiny! He's 6'2" now and the little suit is barely bigger than his foot!
I used to crawl around the house with him, even when he could walk because the more a child crawls the better they read later in life. I would not let him out of my sight in the hospital because of all the kidnappings of babies going on at the time. I remember both my sons' beautiful smiles, when they began walking, how my youngest was a daredevil that loved to jump off tables as soon as he could climb and stand.
Precious memories! My two sons give my life meaning.

Sure, how can you forget something like that? Maybe the most memorable was during an ultrasound finding out I was having twins.

Hi kaka,
Its getting closer to your sons 1st birthday now. My son just turned 1 on Feb.3rd.I remember all of my 3 pregnancies and births. The first time you hear that heartbeat, the 1st ultrasound , the 1st movement inside you are all so special. My son is walking everywhere now. I cannot believe how he has grown in this last year. He was so small, born 2 weeks early,at 5 lbs 9oz. It was the coldest day of the year when he was born and I watched the snow falling when I was is labor. When he finally made his way into the world ,he was perect. I held him for a min. before they took him to clean him up,weigh, and wrap him up.Now he's talking jibberish and walking.Congrtaulations and I hope he has a wonderful birth-day!

Congratulations then, I think you have to brace for your son now that he is starting to walk. That means that he feels the independence of being able to walk and will experiment on many things that may hurt him in the near future. There are many things that you have to watch out like the edges of you table, doors and if you have stairs be sure it will all be child safe for your kids.
I am not scaring you but just warning you that your child is trying to explore farther and it is you who is responsible that in this learning stage you are there to support and care for him as he learns the basic skills in life.

Wow that's fast that he's walking at 11 months! my girl only started walking 2 weeks after her first birthday! And I have people telling me that's fast already.
For me, I had a scrapbook journal for my pregnancy days, and since those were days before my baby came out I had more time to note down all the little details from each gynae visit. After she came out, I still tried to scrapbook but there was much less time. So I suppose that's my way of remembering the moments and milestones my girl goes through!

my son is turning 7 and my daughter is turning 3. yet i still remember how it was like during those times. i first found out about my son when he was 1 and a half months. the joy i felt then was overwhelming. the day when i went to the hospital to bring him out to this world. it was a miracle for me personally. my worries when he was young and didn't get along with anyone, even his dad included, until he was 3. and now, he's 7.
the surprise when i found out i was expecting my daughter, it was quite fast. my surprise and joy when she came out to greet the world so fast with 30 minutes. it was really easy for me. of course, the pain was there. my surprise when she grew really fast and understood quite fast. even now, at 22 months, she looks like a 2-3 years old. she is a daughter who is full of surprises and luck for our family.
the time both of them were born is imprinted in my mind. it may not be exactly in detail or near to, but i can still remember vividly.

I remember the moment that I found out that I was pregnant with both of my children. Those were two of the most beautiful days of my life. I found out later in my pregnancy that I was pregnant with my daughter and very early in my pregnancy that I was pregnant with my son. I remember with my daughter the day before she was born and the day that she was born. I was sent home from the hospital because she wasn't ready and then the following morning my water broke. I remember the day that my son was born because I knew it was going to be the last time. He was an induction and I remember waiting so anxiously to meet him.

Hi Kaka,
I envy you very much that you have a cute baby and a happy family. I get married just now and plan to have the baby by the mid of next year as my husband advised that autumn is the best season to have the seed in the womb, but I am not sure. It is more than I can express your feeling as I have not been a mother, but I could feel you happniess from your words at least.
It is not easy from pregnant, then 10 months caring. One of my friends is having a baby in womb for 7 seven months, but doctor advised that there is something wrong with the baby's intestine from the late inspection. She has to have another blood test tomorrow to determine whether the baby can come to the world. I just know that she is panic and sad on hearing the news. It is really not easy for seven months pregnance, right?

I remember seeing Oliver in J's hands. I remember holding him in my hand and getting in the car and driving to the pet store for milk and a bottle. I remember the first night he crawled out of his nest into my bed. I remember how he cuddled up under my chin.
No, he's not a human baby, but he's my kitten. We had to feed the front end and wipe the back end. He's the little black and white kitten in my avatar, tho he's now over 4 yrs old.

Oh my goodness!I remember when I first felt the flutter in my stomache and knew she was real. Until that time I wasn't sure, it was so sereal. I remember when she was born. (She's 38 now!)She was born on October, 14, 1971 at 2:49p. She looked huge! She was 7 pounds, 12 oz. and beet red! She had a shag and long finger nails. I also recall the births of both of my grandchildren were born. I had them in my arms most of the time.
