When I was young,I think my mother didn't love me.Because she always so busy, she didn't have time with me.But when I get old,I know she loves me more than anyone. And I found that mum is getting old.We should cherish our mother.

It's usual when you was young and saw your mother always busy, you will always tends to think that your mother didn't care for you. But actually, your mother is loving you more than everything in this world. My mother always make sure that me and my siblings are eating well and had all our needs fulfilled, whenever she is around. I also had a very busy mother but i understand that she is busy because of us. It's true that, we should always love and care for our mother whenever they needs us, especially when they started to grow old or unhealthy. It's our time to take care them back, when our mother started to grow old. Hope you will love your mother always.

Your topic is really attractive,I love it.I love my mom, she's made much sacrifice for me and our family, and I really appreciate that. She never says she loves me,but I know nobody loves me as she does.
I wish her all the best,so is your mother.^_^

You definitely see life from a different point of view when you are an adult then when you a child! I'm glad you realize that now. A lot of teenagers can just be so hateful to their parents and then grow up and realize that wow... they really were trying to do what's best for them!
I lost my mom to AIDS when I was fourteen years old so I am glad to hear that you can really appreciate your mother and let her know how much you care about her and are thankful for her by telling her AND showing her! Good luck with everything!

hello purplesally,
yeah i agree with you that we should cherish our moms. life is too short and so uncertain, we can really never know what will happen tomorrow... so as long as we have the time, we should let our mom know how much we love them, let them feel that we appreciate them & that we care for them... take some time to spend with them and thank them before its too late...
as we age our moms also get older you are right 7 it also means that our years in this world is also shorten...and so as long as we have this life, use this to show our love not only to our mom but to our father & other loved ones as well and of course in serving God.
good day & welcome to mylot!

Hi PurpleSally, it has always been the case, isn't it? When we were infants, we stick to our mother like glue, because she is our savior, our mentor, and our provider. As we slowly progress to teenage, we drift away from her, because we think she meddles into our matters too much. It is even shameful to be seen walking side by side with our mother. After we get married and become parents ourselves, we become close to our mother again, because we realize that everything she did for us is for our own good. The saints were right when they said that filial piety is everyone's top priority in life.
