In order to make an undisturbed presence of cell phone we often use our cell phone in vibration mode. Well it is a good feature. But are you aware that these coll phone vibration effects our body. If these are made to vibrate in our shirt pocket then its radiations directly has adverse effect our heart. And if they are hanged in our belt, they effect our kidney. Now you will ask where one should keep his cell phone. We should keep the phone in our hands most of the time and if necessary keep it in the pocket of your trousers.

that is radiations, vibrations aren`t stronger in silent-vibrations mode
cell phones are bad any way, the best way to protect our brain from radiation is to use headsets (with wire -not bluetooth)
People who care at them more than one cell phone are in a duble danger.

I don't think the little bit of vibration effect you get from cell phones is really going to hurt you. I just keep mine wherever I happen to have it. It is not usually on my body though. I tend to keep the cell phone in my purse.

Cell phone users are exposed to electromagnetic radiation.Illness linked to electromagnetic radiation exposure are well documented. It is very harmful for your body, however, it has nothing to do with vibration.

this cell phone doubts has been going on for some time, haven't they? first it was that the cell waves are damaging to brain and etc.. and now the vibration. i'm not sure actually.. some people say it's bad for you, some say it's not to damaging. i keep my cell phone in my bag.. and if i'm expecting a call i'll put it in my jeans. unfortunately the vibrating is always on... after reading your topic here, i think i'm going to turn of the vibration option. just ringtone is fine for me.

If radation comes from anywhere, it comes from the display when the phone is in active use. ex texting dailing etc. However I wonder where you are coming up with thease things. You shouldn't believe everything you read. Its just talk, until actual action is taken it should be regarded as talk and nothing more.
Quite often people don't have much choice where the phone is stored. Most cells the virbrating feature isn't even that powerful. Most of the time, I don't even feel my phone and I wonder 'what's the point'

Wouldn't the radiation come from whereever the signal sending device is placed? It doesn't have to be by the display. If the display is made of plastic it might emit some heat, but not much more.
I second the "don't believe everything you read", some of the research done on cell-phones is just not very good.

The way most cell phones are designed, I highly dout radition is really a factor. Most don't even have antenia anymore and they are all made of plastic. regardless of this I highly doubt any harm can come to you.
I think this is especially true for the vibrating mechinism. That has nothing to do with sending or recieving of signle and operates with simple commands. Thus why I've got no concern.
I keep my phone somewhere I can feel it, if I have it on vibrate. And like I said, a majority of phones the 'vibrate" feature is not that strong and is mostly only noticed when a person is trying to use the device.

hey it is not the vibration that is harmful to us.
it is the electromagnetic waves received and transmitted by cell phones which are hazardous if used heavily.
the main areas of it's impact are near men's reproductive organs
and near heart.
there should be a limit for use of cell phones......
if possible , try to use it as minimum

This isn't true at all. Those vibrations cannot hurt you. Your hip is not where your liver is and your heart would not be effected by vibrations like that. Cell phone waves during calls can be harmful radiation, but the vibration doesn't hurt you, c'mon.

I use the vib. feature, but I did not know it
effects our body. Thank you for letting us
know. I keep my phone in my shirt pocket. I
guess I need to rethink this. I might need to
rethink about using this feature.
Have a great day.

I do not think that the explanation is valid. You see, we've gone through a lot of vibrating beds or seats for massaging, and I don't think that the vibration of the phone is much stronger than those, so how come it can affect the kidneys and the heart? Not to mention that we do experience vibrations or bumps on our day-to-day living, like driving to rough roads or something like that.
I think it's just people's way of putting fear to the minds of the naive, most especially those who are not in the medical world.

Cellphones have become such an important part of our life that in-spite of knowing all the harms of it, we can't leave their use, as I can't leave cellphones, I left think about it's harms.
Will see what ever will happen just enjoy each moment of life.

Actually I was frequently get hurted by vibration when I was using one motorola mobile. While speaking the call, what I will do is I try to reduce the volume. In my mobile volume range is between one to seven. Sometimes I feel that the sound is too large, and I would reduce. 7..6..5..4..3..2..1..then mobile becomes to vibrate while I was speaking. ear would pain a little for that.

Mmmm, Can you provide some more background information regarding this matter, perhaps where you got this from and since when is this aware of?
