Hello, I think both can be very hard. In my opinion it bothers me more and may hurt more to lose touch with a friend that lives right near you or at least in your area compared to losing touch with someone that has moved far away. To lose touch with someone that is right in your area or near your house can be difficult depending on the reasons.
