Li Na bounced Venus Williams out of the Aussie Open in a quarterfinal match! (Source: ESPN.com) This giving China two players into the last four of a tennis major for the first time. Another Chinese player Zheng Jie will play against No.1-ranked Justine Henin in the other semifinal.
Any tennis fan watched that game this evening?

haven't kept in touch with much tennis news. but it feels really great to now that li na showed venus williams the way out...and also that there are two chinese in the semi finals! hope the meet in the final and take share the top two honors among chinese! good luck!

Ya Li Na has come good in the Australian Open and I feel that she will make it to the finals as it was really difficult to defeat the defending champion venus.She has got good ground shots and she made venus to make errors and it was a well deserved victory for her after she was down in the first set.

Hello. I saw only the last part of the match and I was afraid that Li Na will choke when she served for the match at 5-4 and lost her serve. Fortunately she made a re-break and after that she kept her nerves and won the match. I'm very happy to see that the Williams sister can lose also. I'm so sick and tired to see them always in the finals of the Grand Slem tournaments. I was ecstatic at last year's US Open Final without any Williams sister involved. I hope that Li Na will continue her path and send Serene home in the semifinal.
