Rendezvous: Setting an Example Through Music

All around you, you hear music with so much violence, with ads that shamelessly promote an unsavory lifestyle. The new band Rendezvous, however, are doing exactly the opposite. Hagai Izenberg and Itai Simon, the duo behind Rendezvous, first met in the music school they both went to. They tried to make music with other musicians; unfortunately, one of them couldn't speak a word of English! Nevertheless, this didn't stop them from reaching out and bridging the gap through music. Eventually, they successfully finished their first EP. Thousands of listeners instantly loved their music! Rendezvous' songs are a natural balm for the weary soul; their jazzy renditions of electronica music are great tunes to have on your mp3 player when you're working on a project, doing homework, or trying to listen to your own thoughts. Rendezvous has also made a mark in the music world by making a difference. They represent unity in so many aspects: they have united jazz with electronica, they have worked as one with musicians despite racial and cultural differences, and they are now merging together audio and video as part of their debut album launch. That's why I'm a big fan of Rendezvous. Apart from their beautiful music, they actually have something else to be proud of. :)

It's nice that there are artists and bands who inspire others through example. Very few musicians and actresses stick to their values once it's their careers you're talking about. Thanks for telling us about Rendezvous - will check them out!
