Have you ever had to look for a job? What did you do?
I have been without a job for a few months now and it is getting disheartening trying to find a job. The sad thing is I would do just about anything except the food industry cause I really don't want my clothes smelling like food all the time. Out side of that I am have training in insurance, sales, customer service and several other thing so you would think I wouldn't have a hard time but between online, the newspaper and stuff like that it has happened. So I was curious what have other people done to find work. What worked for you guys and what didn't?

As corny as it sounds.. Cold-Calling.. call up industries, companies in your area, be BOLD ask if they are hiring, I found 3 GREAT positions.. I chose 1 and have been there for a few years now. Never get discouraged, when you cold call you present yourself as determined (don't sell em mags or anything) LOL :)
That's what I did it worked.. keep your chin up and best of luck to you!

Hey thanks for the vote of confidence, I am not quite depressed about it yet but it is getting worse, I have been in sales though so it will take a lot to break me. Thanks though that is a pretty good idea. I will try it for sure.
