More importantly, culture or food for you?
Are you curious to know what people eat a dish or find out what kind of history or culture of a people is?
The food may say something about the culture of a people?
Can you forget about food only to find out what kind of culture or history has a people?
So, if you go to visit Paris you will enter in a restaurant to eat French food, or you will go in a museum to know something about Napoleon Bonaparte?

Culture is more important to me than food. I would visit a museum or an art gallery when I arrive in a city like Paris. It is interesting to meet the local people. It is fascinating to find out about the history. I like to go to a supermarket to get food to eat. I adore eating French bread. I have been to beautiful Paris a few times.

I would be checking out the restaurants first! Nothing like different foods from different places. It can be quite and experience.

I do both, of course. As well as visit Versailles, the Louvre, Notre Dame, etc. etc. etc.

If i had to visit a city for the first time i would naturally like to know more about its culture and spend my time visiting its musuems, its monuments and buildings of historical significance. If there was a zoological park i would also visit it and also the spots of natural beauty like lakes, mountains, and forests. Food would not be my primary concern though i would certainly try out the local wares.I would also like to visit the markets where i would hunt for localy made artefacts were sold.

i will push into a hotel or restaurant first, to taste the food of french..I can learn the history of the city by browsing internet or using wikipedia, but i cannot taste the food in the computer, it has to be real, so i will go to a restaurant first, later if i'm permitted, i'd go to a museum to know the historic importance of the city..

We will always need to eat, so restaurants are good places to stop, but in between meals, I'm interested in seeing the various museums and other tourist attractions of various cities that I may visit. My husband and I went to Toronto for Christmas, and saw lots of places, and ate lots of good food.
