halloo...magicalboy...when i was young, i thought i could do whatever i want to do but i was restricted by my parents, teachers......now when i grow older i think i can do whatever i want to do , and again i was restricted by my obligation to my family, wife and daughters.....so ...do you think we can let go of everything and do whatever we want to? it is very hard!!! so i always envy those who can go for what they want , just because they want to....

I agree, i am looking at leaving my wife and 3 children for a year and a half to go to school to become an airline pilot. And even then I have to keep telling myself that it will all work out. I believe the trick is to focus on taking one step at a time, then take it from there. And you have to be determined to get what you want, not just give up at the first sign that it won't work. You have to devote part of your life to attaining your goal.

Hi, Magicalboy!
There was a time when I thought I had to do what was expected of me, and I didn't really know what I wanted to do. A number of circumstances arose that caused me to be free of those influences, and I found that doing what I want to do is an absolute joy!!! It's not easy to break free of obligations, but if we can, we can certainly do anything we want, and love it!

I seldom to set a goal .
But if I set one , I will rack my brain and take all the energy to finish that work .
No need to worry about anything else. Though in the end I just get only one thing done, it's much buch better than getting nothing done at all

You can do what you want to do. But is it really what you want to do or is there anthing more important than the thing you want to do. The things you want to do is very different from the things you need or think you want to do. Ultimately , its your will and body which will tell you what to do.So even though you have set your minds on one thing, unless you strive, there will be no end result.
