I normally like flip phones because that helps prevent accidental dialing or use. However I find touch screan phones are more convenet and provide a better ease of use for me. While they are open-faced or "normal" phones they have a screan locking feature to help prevent accidental use. I like the simple touch action because it puts less strain on the hardware and makes the phone last longer. Seeing as how my contracts run two years I'm going to want something that's going to last.

I used to like the flips, but lately I've started to show interest in slides. Now I'm planning to buy a slide, so I like the slides more. I think that they are very comfortable and stylish, too.

I have tried using different types of mobile phones and i can say that touch screen is the best. I am currently using Apple iPhone. At first i thought it was hard to use but i was wrong. i love iPhone. It has lots of applications and features. I love the wifi feature because I can surf anytime. The applications currently installed here are Facebook, Yahoo Messenger and few games like Cooking Dash, Wedding Dash, Turbo Subs and Yummy. I am planning to install more applications tomorrow, i can't wait!

I'm currently into the touch screen models. I love the latest ones by Nokia. I carry the 5800 XpressMusic. I love how the lock key is on the side. I've never had problems with accidentally dialing numbers or changing settings. It's comes in handy that way.

Well I like the normal flat mobile phones. Rather than going for the slider or flip I would always go for the normal simple phone. I have seen many times the moving portion of these slider or flip phones undergo some mechanical damage when frequently used. And if that part if your phone gets damaged then it will be quite difficult to have its replacement. Better go for the simple and flat phones.

I like the flip phone. I do not really do text messaging so I don't have a need for the type of phone that has a full keyboard which slides out. I like the flip over the normaal because you don't accidentally have keys pressed when it is in your pocket.

I have blackberry 9700 & I guess it's considered as cany bar type. I don't really have any preference on what type it is.

I have had flip, slide and now I have a touch screen phone. I like the outch screen for some things but not all. I have a lock on mine as well, but for some reason, when I lock it, it acts up, and shut itself off, but when I don't lock it, it doesn't. I think it is really strange for sure. I am hoping to upgrade later on this year and I like the droid phone, and the samsung, but not sure what I will get as when that comes, there might be better ones out there. It never seems to fail when I do buy a phone, then a better one always comes along. I guess I have rotten timing. Take care, and happy mylotting.

I like the slide style. Unfortunately I can't afford that right now, so I have the flip style. (It gets the job done though).

I too like slide model, and I own a slide model mobile. But I think it wont suits me, because I will drop my phone often. So next time, I planned to get a normal bar model.

Hello Rama, Sorry, but I love my Blackberry Curve (small & sleek). It presently suits my purpose(s) and useage needs quite adequately. Suppose that I am just 'old school' enough, yet technologically inclined that if its current.........is sufficient. Maybe another year or so....that could change. Take care, -dj.
