Why can't I be that success story?

Ever wonder how so many other people become overnight successes? Some lucky person makes it big just by working from home online. I wonder why I can't be that person. What do I lack that these people got? Then when I get to thinking it is a range of things lack of useful talent, lack of time to commit even though I'm a hard working person when I need to be but still life isn't giving me the time. Maybe I just can't come up with those ideas that sell. I don't ever feel that way?

Besides the hard work,I think the fortune and knowledge are also important.You should get prepared to meet the purpose.

Success I believe is a very relative concept...you can't define it by one win or one shot at fame...success is a feeling of accomplishment, a sense of having surpassed oneself..it could range from doing charity to helping someone to even being a mentor.
It could even be making yourself and your family proud but above all this, It's the joy withing you that really defines success.
Becoming a success overnight is not the only criteria to judge how successful one really is. Success as they say is not a one time phenomena, it's a habit, it's a gradual process...as for people who achieve it overnight ask them if it was OVERNIGHT when they STARTED working towards it!!!
the recognition was overnight but the hard work was put in from the time they realized they wanted something real bad...
Question for you is :What do I really want, WHAT will define success for me.
You have all the quality and potential that goes into the making of a success story, you just need to realize it yourself.
Nothing to stop you, Go Right After It (of course AFTER deciding what is it you want in life)

Quite interesting view. I know that none of these people became succuessful overnight per say. The point is that they were regular people with regular backgrounds and bam hit the jackpot of something or another to acheive financial stability. I only wish I could do the same. Thanks for the encouragment

I guess there are some people out there that are exceptionally lucky. However, you have to think about everybody else who is in your situation. Hardly any of us are or will become overnight success stories. Heck, even most of these overnight success stories, the people behind them still had to put in months of hard work.

i think so, why some people can make a success in a short time , whether they are smarter or more talent ,or they make a earlier preparation ,so they earn more opportunities , maybe these factors have some affections ,but do we pay enough works on our business, do we carelly consider every things, some times we spend more time and resourse on useless things ,and we have used to the daily life ,even feel uncomfortable when changes come to us , so how can we grab it when opportunity appearing,
