Was Bangladesh Test Series a rubber?

India

Before start of the test series between Team Bangladesh and Team India, everybody considered this test series to be rubber? And it was taken for granted that India will win this test series without any efforts? Now the series is over and India won the series by 2-0. Was this series really a rubber? For me Bangladesh was a good opponent. First Inning of First test match, Bangladesh was really in a very good condition. Even Bangladesh almost scored equally. I won't call it to be rubber. What is your opinion?

it is obvious that bangladesh team are considered underdogs especially going against the no 1 team in test cricket.i do not mistreat the fact that the bangladesh team can pack a punch, they have done it before.but going against india, one is bound to think what they have no chance and there you have it,2-0 india win. one question to you,if you were to bet 100 bucks on a team which one would it be?? for me india and im sure bangladeshi fans,no matter how proud they are, would do the same.i dont say bangladesh team is inferior, they are just underdogs in the game and have lot to prove and achieve before they can go head to head with the best.no offense to anybody, just a opinion of a proud indian cricket fan! take care!!

Yeah, I must agree that even I will bet for India. What my point is was it rubber? Isn't it time that Bangladesh should be taken seriously?

actually it wasnt a rubber considering the srilanka test series where India decimated through the considerably one of the better teams around. but i dont really know why,but its a state of mind.first impression is the last impression, bangladesh team has been considered weak and so they reamin to be considered so, even now. they have lot to prove before they can change anyone's opinion. it would be overestimating if we think bangladesh is a strong opponent atleast for now.

BanglaDesh is not even a second rate team, but a third rate team. There was no need for a strong Indian team to have gone to Banlga desh and played them. Even a Strong state team like Delhi, Bombay or Tamilnadu could have gone and even they would have beaten them. One good thing is their batsmen are improving, and even their bowlers bowled well, and if the ground fielding was good, India would have struggled. It was the fielding which let Bangladesh down.

Yeah, I agree. Bangladesh is really improving a lot. They have got good batsman. They bowled well too. If not for sudden collapse in batting order in second team, they would have given a good fight to India. And India couldn't win any match with an inning's margin.
