Help For Haiti

I have been watching the news since this terrible incident happened, the world has come together to help, a lot of money has been collected to send food, water, etc. I was listening to the news yesterday and they always say that a lot of help is already there, as far as food, water and medicine goes, but they also say there are some places where they have not been able to reach because it is too dangerous still...now my question would be, i have seen some news anchors and the ones taking the video, they get in there just fine and interview the people and ask them if they have eaten...the people reply that they have not...what i don't understand is, how is it possible for news people to get in there but not for food trucks...is anyone else thinking this way, or is it just me?
