Would you prefer to make your own cupcakes or would you prefer to buy them?

In my country there was actually no way of buying cupcakes anywhere. So when I want to eat them, I make them myself. I have the book Martha Stewart's cupcakes and so far I've made about 15 recipes (I try something new every time). I always calculate how much money one cupcake cost me and it's always about 20-40 cents (euro). A month ago I heard that a cupcake store has opened in my town, and their website is a copy of Sprinkles cupcakes. Well, they charge about 3 euro for one cupcake. I can make 20 cupcakes at home with that money. So I don't buy them, ever. Plus, you never know what quality of the ingredients they use.

i prefer making them myself because it saves me money. i can get a cake mix on sale for 99 cents and a tin of icing for 99 cents too and that is what i use.
when my daughters were little, instead of cake, i used to make cupcakes for them and get things such as gummy bears, worms and sprinkles and let them and their friends decorate the cupcakes to their hearts content.

I really have never made any cupcakes on my own I have made Muffins and Cakes and things like that but I am guessing it would not be a hard thing to make but I was looking at a picture of them and they looked really good!

Why buy them if you can make them? And getting to taste, the ones you make always taste better than the one's you bought....
