can I stop a finance company from a car dealership from garnishing my wages?

They took out a judgement on me cause I couldn't afford to keep up the payments and missed a court date so can I talk to them about paying a lil each month so they won't take some of my paycheck and how will they find out when I get another job?

Yes, yes, YES, you need to talk to them ASAP! Communication is your only hope since you missed your court date. Not a wise thing to do, but it's done now. Time for damage control. If you don't contact them, you may give them the impression you are blowing them off. Don't make things worse by thinking you can change jobs. It may work for a time, but how many times are you going to be willing to change jobs (especially in this economy)? Do you still have your car or has it been repo'ed? Good luck, lola.
