I never saw the movie High Anxiety, would you recommend it? I might give it a try. Anyways, I also get social anxiety, crowds and new environments give me anxiety for sure but not always, just most of the time. I also get pretty bad anxiety being in places with bad bugs because I really hate horse and deer flies and I think I have a bit of a fear of them actually. So during bug season, I try to stay inside and away from lakes and stuff as much as possible. As for my crowd anxiety thing, I stay away from really crowded parties and sometimes amusement parks and other things.

Yes, I would reccomend High Anxiety. It is a Mel Brooks movie. He is in it and it is silly, and zany. You sound like me. I don't like crowds either.

Alright I will try to check it out :) And yeah we are alike! It sucks that we both get anxiety from crowds though because theres lots of fun things associated with crowds but ah well.

I have social anxiety and this has kept me out of work for a long time, I'm learning to live with it but I still don't like meeting people I don't know well and have trouble in crowds and at parties etc. I'm also worrying about money a lot but who isn't in the current financial climate, the recession has hit everyone.
I saw the film high anxiety again recently on the TV it is a very funny film Mel Brooks was great.

Hi. Hey, I relate very well to everyhting you have said here. Mel Brooks was great! I think someone with these anxieties enjoys the film even more. IF, at any point you need to talk to someone that is objective and not in your daily realm I am here for you. Just PM me. I am usually on or will be soon. Thanks for your response and take care.

I get anxiety over everything. I always feel like something is about to go wrong. My heart rips out everytime my kids have a bad day because I am scared I won't be able to fix it. Crowds are definitly a no-no for me. I panic easily. I don't like clothes on the floor because of the dirt on the floor. I could have just mopped and still feel that way. I have OCD and that doesn't help matters. It sends my anxiety about everyday things through the roof.

I used to have OCD when I was younger but it is as if I grew out of it or something. I have bad anxiety and if I get stressed I get very sick. It is as if I am illergic to stress.

Yes, I do take meds. The anxiety was really bad until I found the right meds.

I have a visualization tape and I do yoga. These help with both.

I don't have specific anxieties but I do get panic attacks and anxiety at work - especially when I am under a lot of stress.

I used to as well. And to the extent that it physically made me sick!!
