whats your favorite Xbox 360 game?

i recently bought a xbox 360 and was interested in figuring out what games most people enjoy. the only game i have so far is Halo 3. i heard a good one is Modern Warfare 2 is a good game..is it? should i get the rest of the Call of duty series to best understand the game? is there any other games you would advise me to try out?

Modern Warefare 2 was an awesome game but I doubt you'll be able to find any good servers. Black Ops 2 ain't bad either IMO.

yea you should get the rest of the series and gears of war is another good series

Mass Effect has great mission and option for an Action RPG.

Well I like all the games I have, except I'm not to sure about Halo Reach yet (I've only played it twice so far...) so I'll just list them. Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, Bioshock, Bioshock 2, and Brutal Legend (yeah I don't have many games, I just got my Xbox). Need for Speed Hot Pursuit it my favorite racing game, and it's very competetive with friends. Bioshock 1 and 2 are great first person shooters that have really interesting stories and features. Brutal Legend is funner than it seems and funny in my opinion. Also, it's not a full game yet, but I'm really enjoying te new crysis 2 demo that just came out on the marketplace.
