Keyboard Vs Mouse?

Ofcourse, we are using the both. I want to know which device you prefer the most. Some people are saying, working with keyboard is faster and saves time. But there are a lot of things that we cannot do without a mouse in windows(might be time-consuming, when doing in keyboard). On the other hand, keyboard also has many short-cuts, which saves time. But the mouse still comes up top I think.. So whats your opinion?

It depends on what I am doing.
If it's typing, programming, and the likes of course I prefers the keyboard.
But when it comes to seeking a video then I use my mouse since I don't know any shortcuts for that.
That's the only time I use my mouse.
Also, using keyboard is only faster when you know the shortcuts.:D

Since I have been a typist for 36 years I would have to say the keyboard is the one I prefer. I'm faster with it and I just love typing. As for the mouse it can be such a pain when it freezes in one place or its just not there. Give me the keyboard anyday.

I think if you know the keyboard shortcuts, it saves a lot of time. I used to use a unix based text editor, so got used to using keyboard. Its easy to use mouse and it requires lot of practice to be able to use keyboard shortcuts effectively.

it because only wit keyboard we can learn many shortcuts, which are useful for us to improve ourself to use the computer..i use keybord a lot eg: this is ma 4th keyboard :P

I work for a data entry company so we use the keyboard for most things. I do use the mouse when I need to but I find myself using the keyboard more and more. For example, when working with MS Office Excel and Word, I am learning more and more of the keyboard shortcuts for the items in the menu rather than using the mouse to select it. I have found this very helpful with Excel.
I have Microsoft Excel 2003 at work and Office 2007 at home. I find that I cannot find items easily in 2007 with the mouse because it is set up so differently from 2003. However, if I know the keyboard shortcut from 2003, 2007 will accept those shortcuts. No more looking for where various features are at in the menus.
