How do you know when you have met that one person for you?
I was watching a movie called Flower Girl and it really got me thinking. it seems so many people marry based on superficial things.. occupations, money, etc. Does the fairy tale romance not happen anymore?
Would you marry someone based on financial status? based on occupation or money?
I wouldn't, thats not what defines that person. those things are subject to change at any moment. I think it is the real connection that makes relationships last.

You are so right about it. I see that most people feel that settling for education, occupation, money and so on is the best thing to do. But in the long run do they really matter in keeping the internal bliss in the relationship? I have never seen a couple happy with those things. The main factors are chemistry, friendship, similar values and comfort. If you have those things in your relationship you will sure to live in heaven. People don't marry for real love these days. They marry to fulfill their lust and greed.

I totally agree with you. These days, men and women are very practical when it comes to marriage. They don't think about LOVE but LUST. They think of money for greed. The essence of marriage is slowly depleting.

i think that if everything is already in place in your life: career wise and everything else and you found a person you like based on all the right reasons that you hold dear then i'd say that is the right person. if he happens to have money or whatever then it is just a bonus. people who might think you marry solely for that "bonus" are nonsense people.

I would say romance is not anymore present in our generation these days. They only happen in movies. People marry not purely because of love but because they know the can have something they don't have. For example, a poor girl will marry a rich businessman because she knows she can have his money later on. Love has been stained with selfishness, greed, lust, and the like.

Marrying a man who you love and love you is the best choice.
A marrige doesn't work without love.
That's my opinion.
