men and valentines day

I understand that women always find it hard shopping for men, because I am a man... But what is important, for any occasion, is the time you shared for him. It's the thought that counts!!! for me, I can do one Valentine spent at home and a dinners for two, you just make him feel very special on that day, or Say this, "I'm all yours."

I agree that it is really difficult to think of gifts for men. They are not really into fashion so we could not buyt them fashionable clothes. Most of them are not vain like women, so cosmetics is out of question. I think they are more into practical gadgets like swiss knife, toolbox etc. However these gift ideas seem to be inappropriate as a Valentine gift. How about surprising him with tickets for a romantic getaway for two or a reservation in a romantic hotel?
