Oh my, he's snoring again.

I love my husband very very dearly. We've been married a year and a half now and have loved every minute of it. Well... almost every minute. Nothing gets under my skin the way that snoring does. I cannot stand it! It makes me want to rip my own hair out. I'm not sure what it is about that grinding nasal sound that makes me so hostile, but I will do whatever it takes to avoid it. Does anyone else passionately hate snoring, and what measures will you go to in order to prevent it in yourself or your partner?

hi! for some people, the position in which they sleep blocks the proper air passage. so better make sure that your husband is in a comfortable position to breathe easily and properly. prop up the pillows so that the head is slightly higher than the stomach, when lying down. sleeping on the side, make sure he can still breathe fine thru his nose and not thru the mouth.
one trick that worked on my ex was that i softly massage the back of his neck to ease muscles there and fortunately it helped lessen the loud snoring. soft round motions with your fingertips, soft enough not to wake him up. hehe i usually do this several times in the first few nights and it gradually decreases as he gets used to it.
does he snore with mouth open? open-mouth snoring is usually caused by improper breathing. while he's asleep, smoothen his jawline to relax it and try to coax his mouth to close.
goodluck.

Thanks for the advice! I normally just nudge him until he rolls over and eventually stops. I never thought to try and relax his jaw or neck muscles. I'll definitely try these techniques tonight and hopefully get a better night's sleep! Thanks again!
