do animal love us

I'm not sure if I would say that my horse loves me, but he misses me when I'm gone. Or at least, he gets stressed because things aren't as they usually always are so I am a part of his herd/flock and should there for appear at regular intervals and not stay away for a week.

I think it depends on the animal. Some animals are very affectionate while others are not. I'm not sure if animals feel love the same way people do. But in general I think if someone has a pet and they take care of it and treat it kindly and interact with it, that the pet is going to bond with the owner. I'm a cat person and cats can act very indifferent to humans as opposed to dogs who can be very attached to their owners. I think this is just the way cats are and doesn't mean they don't love their owners.
