Here in my country, there is a bill that was in process about marriages being given 10 year contracts. As a catholic I know that this is against our beliefs and faith, but as a woman, my heart goes along with battered children and woman as well. The bill contains a 10 year contract and after this year if the husband and wife will still want to continue their relationship, this just need to renew their vows and contract for another 10 years... What do you think about this?

I feel contractual marriage is just ridiculous.
Marriages bind 2 loving souls for eternity. I think just because all have started to be just on papers n legal matters the purity of love in relationship has been lost now.

That sounds absolutely ridiculous. Who would ever want to get married. It should be up to a couple when they want to end their marriage. I couldn't imagine being with someone I didn't like for ten years just because my government said I had to. Love fades so why should you stay in a relationship with no love.

I don't like contract marriage. Marriage means 2 person bind tightly with husband wife relationship. Which is free from sin. So why there will be any contract. I don't like this.
