Who will win 2010 FIFA World Cup???

Most of the favourites have already qualified for the World cup due next summer in South Africa. Will one of the traditional powers (i.e. Brazil, Germany or Italy)or will an emerging nation (Spain, England)or a new rising team(Ivory Coast)triumph in South Africa? For the record, no European team has ever won outside Europe and the trend could very well continue if Brazil performs up to expectations or perhaps a suprising African package rises to the occasions just as the South Koreans did in Asia 2002 when they made it to the semi-finals.
I am a great soccer fan and I would love to hear your opinion on the subject.

according to the trend and records, i don't see a european country winning this time. they win in their own den. whereas the south americans have won everywhere, especially brazil. brazil is the only country to have won it in every continent where the cup is held so far. so my bet is on brazil. they are gonna make it 5 out of 5 continents so far!

I agree with you on this one. European team never won outside Europe. And Brazil does look as the #1 candidate for the title.

If memory serves I don't think Brazil has ever won the World Cup in Europe...but I digress. Spain are the favourites so I reckon Spain will win, so long as Fernando Torres stays fit. I would love England to win it (obviously) but they're bound to come up against the Argies at some point and lose on penalties. It's on the cards! Brazil v Spain would be my ideal final if England don't get there.

Its very hard to predict that who will actually win the world cup. WE have seen that great teams like czech and croatia and russia have even failed to qualify so predicting who will win is tough. Surely we all can choose who is the favorite to win the cup this year or who deserves the most. This time world cup is taking place in south africa so african teams will have a lot of support. I think that spain are the favorites as they are in sublime form and dont even have any injury problems as such.... brazil can bang too... argentina's current form is not that good or else they are one of a favorites to win the cup too...

I think South Africa are the favorites as there are the hosts and have a point to prove but we also find that most of the good teams like Brazil, argentina, Spain, England and also the defending champions Italy are the hot favourites of winning the world cup.

I don't know who will win. But i wish Brazil will win. As my favorite team is Brazil. And second choice is Italy.

I hope Brazil will win 2010 FIFA World Cup. England have good players but they often play inconsistently. Their young player also cannot control their emotion. Spain paying football well but they usually play bad when vs big team. New rising team, Ivory Coast may will be underdog team. They have a good striker. Go Brazil!

My favorite player is Ronaldo.And there are lots of players in the Brazil team I like,such as Kaka,Ronaldinho.Brazil's football style is always magnificent and its players are the most talent players. Germany is a team which always has strong spirit,I like this spirit.Spanish team also has so many talent player,and it has achieve great accomplishment these two years.I think they will get a ideal achievement.I like these three teams.

what about Argentina? don't you know if they have many high quality player like:
1. lionel messi as the world best player 2009,
2. gonzalo higuain as the top scorer in real madrid,
3. diego milito who shine with inter milan,
4. carlos tevez who played well in manchester city,
5. lisandro lopez who bring lyon into quarter final of champion's league
and many other great player like cambiasso, zanetti, and aguero

I think this time the Orange will fly high, I mean the Dutch team can be considered as one of the favorites and I want them to lift the cup. And again I believe, that I am not trying to build castles in the air either. It is highly likely that with a team comprising of the likes of Sneijder, Van Persie, Huntelaar, Babel, Kuyt, Robben, Van Der Vaart, Bronchorst etc the dutch are a formidable opponent to beat. And in case Van Nistelrooy returns to the international arena, that can put the icing on the cake. So with all these arguments I think that even the Dutch can lift the cup.

Under my concern, Espana(Spain) is making all sorts of winning now days ...
Not only their national games, also with the La Liga, u can see all the spain players are performing in their respective club and they have won the euro 08' by defeating the countries in the middle eastern..
