In this thread you can discuss and exchange experience about overclocking Intel's dual and quad processors.
I own Core2Duo E6400.
I keep it at 2.66 GHZ under AC freezer 7 pro.
I was wondering can I speed it up to 3.00 GHZ without changing the voltage?

Hi, well i haven't overclocked my processor as my motherboard didn't support overclocking.
I own Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 @1.86Ghz. I've seen many people who had overclocked it to 3.2Ghz. The reviews of this processor for overclocking was far better than Core 2 Extreme.
But i own a branded computer and it has got ASUS P-5 series motherboard(same as Intel 946GZ series).
So, there is no option for me to overclock this system as there is no option to change processor's voltage and there are no BIOS updates available for this motherboard.
So, if you know any other method please let me know too.

Hi, i've checked the link, but i'm sorry to say that i have a branded PC and the motherboard doesn't support overclocking as there is no option to change the voltage settings in BIOS.
Also there are no BIOS updates available for that motherboard as it was specially designed for the company.
So, if you know you know anyone who is using the same motherboard and got updates of the motherboard, then i would be very thankful to you.
My motherboard--ASUS P5B-TMX+S(Intel 946GZ chipset)
