when you think the opinion of your direct leader is wrong.

You must has come cross the situation that your opinion and your boss diverged.when it happened ,did you insist your opinion or say nothing but follow your boss's instruction.have you ever persuaded your boss successfully? I found that was difficult to make a choice ,what about you?

Yes, I came across that type of situation many times in ten years of work experience in three differnet organizations. Interestingly, in my current job, there are two leaders one is direct and the other at top level. What I found is that insisting on own suggestions is always wrong and of no advantage to my reputation. Thersore I always move along the line marked by my leaders, which will at least give me: 1. Peace of mind, 2. Quick finish to given task, 3. Good ranks in appraisals. I just want to go by the line "boss is alwyas right" (blindly), after this type of experience of comapny level jobs.

what leaders says is not always right,but it does matter. Like wat you said: boss is always right.

Based on my working experience I prefer to follow the boss opinion. There is one exception when I could not do that because it is against everything I believe in: if my boss asks me to do something which is not according to law, I would tell him my opinion and explain to him why I think it is not correct. Fortunately I have not yet been in such situation. Perhaps I am lucky to have great leaders :-)
