Could it be that the worlds best comic/acting duo is now redundant?

I did a site search for "Laurel and Hardy" and was shocked to find not one discussion started about the best duo to hit the silver screen. Have they finally gone out of date? I always thought their films to be timeless masterpieces. Now I find that they don't seem worthy to be discussed! What the...?

I think they have gone out of fashion. I searched the whole internet for them and didn't really find anything. I was surprised considering they are really well known.

Well, I don't not like them, they are OK, I do know some people who do like them though, the trouble is, I don't think youngsters are getting to see the Laurel and Hardy films nowadays, they're too busy playing on computer games and suchlike to bother with that sort of thing. It would be a shame for them to disappear into the ether though, maybe we should actively encourage children to watch the classics, I mean, look what happened with Star Wars! :)

it is indeed sad,i love their comic skits,when i was a child my mother used to sit with me and we both used to watch their skits.we both loved it.

My favorite Laurel & Hardy movie is "March of the Wooden Soldiers." Where I live they play this movie every morning on Thanksgiving Day.
