what do you prefer to have one big or some little kittens?

Because i have a four years old son and i have two little kittens yet i started the discussion and i want to ask about the names of two baby cats.
My son is so happy and everytime he wants to play with them and they are so little ,i can step on them. The mother of them isn`t our cat and the family who give us the kittens, now they want to give us and the big mother cat.
What do you do if you have the same problem?

If i have a 4 yr old son, i would get the bigger cat. If she has young ones (age below 12 weeks), you can have them too but keep her kittens AWAY from your son. Give the cat & small ones their own private room (if its possible). Mother cats are super protective of her youngs!
when the kittens will be older ( 3 or 4 mos ) they can play with your son but please with your supervision. Children at this age still do not know how to handle live animals properly. Its either he can get scratches or he mishandle the kittens (pulling of tails, pinching, hitting,).
