Why Facebook is Good? Why Should I have to join Facebook?

I joined FB to stay in touch with and get back in touch with ppl in my life that I care about and dont live near... As for personal info possibly being seen...well if you mean on your profile then you just set you privacy to a level that you are comfortable about...if you mean your personal info getting out other ways then thats a chance you take when you join ANY site that requires you to fill out a registration or membership form..including here..

Joining Facebook is one way of communicating your loved ones and friends. Though you have to be very careful in adding friends in your Facebook's list so as to protect you from strangers viewing your personal information and details. Many applications are programmed that user finds it very challenging to play and find out the strategy to learn more tactics. It can be very useful in our daily endeavors. Gaining more friends, having additional knowledge from other's viewpoints and dealing some business prospects.

That is a decision you must make on your own. Facebook is mostly a gossip board but its such a coool gossip board. Seriously joining facebook will make it easier to stay connected with friends and see thier photos. personal information can be set to private and i think it is actually private by default. Well, I do have a facebook account but I am not very active on the site. It does offer a lot of advantages and one of which is communication. You can also find old friends way back from your early years like high school friends or co workers as well as gain new friends. With respect to your problem regarding personal information, you can always set them to be viewed only by certain people. Facebook now has given you control as to who will see you and as to who have limited access to your profile.

If you have friends on facebook or want to find old friends, then facebook is great, both for socializing, planning and getting and keeping in touch. You can set your privacy settings to that only your friends see most of your information, and of course, you decide what to put there. The only thing you have to provide is real name and a working e-mail adress. Doesn't have to be your real name, but if you call yourself, say, Luke Skywalker, you will most likely be banned.

Facebook is a lot faster than myspace and I never go to myspace anymore, I am mostly on Facebook. I have found a lot of people that I have missed over the years and it's just one good way of keeping communication with people who are far away.

I have joined facebook and found lot of virtual friends who helped me a lot. I had not faced problem in sharing my information and lot of privacy settings are there. If you do not want to share some information, you can lock that from public viewing. Lot of interesting features, you can promote your business or website very easily on FB. I will not ask you to join and will not even say you are missing something on face. But I will say only one thing that it is safe, do not worry if you are information is not safe on FB.. all the best..

It is a social network to be a part of social network had its own advantages and disadvantages. We live in society where we have the some advantages and disadvantages this entirely depend you how you use it it is two edge sward.

Hello everyone, I really don't like facebook, I don't have so many friends and I think that facebook is very transparent, you will see others' chat and so I think there is no privacy. I also don't like the idea that anyone can see what photos you uploaded although it is entertaining I like that part that it makes me forget that Im bored but I just don't like it when people can see almost what you are doing. But I have facebook,.... just don't really like it that much...

Well, simply because is the best, I've used so far, Tagged, Friendster, MySpace, and more... Facebook has a lot of people subscribed to it, offers nice ways to communicate email like and chat like. Is very visual and yet simple in the look which makes things easier to find. Photos can be nicely organized and people can be tagged in pictures. Offers bunch of software, many of which useless hahaha, but some games are ok. Surely I'm starting to use myLot more as "supposed" to give me some returns, but I must say isn't too bad. I might start asking all my friends to join here :P the power of such tools is proportional to the number of people using it and Facebook is the second largest. But hey, you don't have to ;) the choice is yours...

I am on facebook. I love the games on facebook. You can also chat with your friends and family. Facebook offers a lot of different fun and interesting things to do. I do not post any of my personal information. I think if you don't know it then I didn't give it to you. You don't have to put anything on facebook you don't want anyone to know. You don't even have to have a real picture of yourself. I have over 1700 friends on facebook that I play games with and not a 1 of them have I ever met, and they nothing about me that I haven't told them which is zilch. It is up to you. If you don't feel it is safe then you should never feel pressured to join, but it is a lot of fun.

You should give facebook a try. It's really amazing. I wasn't too interested with facebook before but now, i am addicted to it. It can help you connect with friends in a much faster way because of its chat feature. Don't worry about losing privacy. You can edit the settings of your account so that only your closest friends or relatives can see it.

Well facebook is the best social networking site . In the beginning i used to be orkut addict but now after i started using FB i have stopped using orkut . The best part about FB is it has many unique application and keeps user active . Also i have got my old frds circle back . FB is most secure of social media . I recommend people to use FB

I have to say that i am on facebook. I have found old friends from school and i enjoy seeing what they are doing with their life and how they are doing. It is grea to talk to old friends and catch up with them and maybe even plan a trip to go see them where they are living now. If you put your person information on facebook then that is your stupidity of course. SOme people do put tehre phone numbers and addresses on their information page unlike me i do not do that because there are some weird people out their that are even on your freinds. Of course you can make your page private so that only certain people can see your information and pictures. I think putting your page on private is the best thing to do so that you don't have the weirdos looking after you.

I joined facebook for free :) Actually that;s not all, features of interest in facebook that makes me enjoy there. i can play games with exisiting aplikasy on facebook, a lot of games that i played often, especially poker and ninja saga. To the problem of personal information we can hide the exisiting arrangements as long as i have no problem in facebook. That is one reason i joined :)

Why face book good? because its fun, because you can connect to your old friends who also uses face book, because almost everyone in the world is connected to face book, and also information from different countries can be updated in face book. Face book is good also for business to find sources or maybe out sourcing. But the main feature i like about face book is there chat. So that instantly we can communicate to those friends who I haven't seen for the past few years. Why not try face book? If you don't like it then you can just leave it and no harm will be done.
