How can I make my carrer in Web development

I want to make my carrer in web development. I had asked to so many friends that which language is good for learning that I can make my carrer good in web development. Friends says so many language. Some says PHP is good some says HTML is good some says ASP.NET is good and some said Java is good. Now I am too much confused about learning the programming language. Can you tell me which language is good and using which language i can increase my carrer good and better. Thanks

You can start with HTML as a basic Then PHP, ASP.net, XML and so on if you want to learn about any programming language You best start with learning C, C++, then Java, java applets, JSP and so on. There are slight difference among these languages from its basic language. Only the features will be added in each language.

see their are lot of technical languages to create web pages Java,VB.NET,JSP,ASP,XML and many more its like they are made by different companies but all accomplish same purpose of web development like JAVA and JSP is product of SUN microsystems and VB and ASP of Microsoft so its your choice which product you want to use yes Hare Krishna Ganesh
