Ok so I was looking on craigslist today under the free items and I seen many things that were left over from a garage sale. I live in Iowa and the weather around here has not been very good at all! And it's winter....FREEZING Why on earth would anyone think to have a garage sale or even on the other hand would people even show up to these garage sales and walk around slowly looking at all the items while freezing? Have you ever been to a garage sale in the winter? Have you had one in winter, if so do they turn out as they would in the summer? Crazy is what I think it is.

Yeah, I think that's crazy too, I've never been to a yard sale in the winter, and I don't think I would, its too cold to be out there looking around..lol.

Some people don't mind the cold. Some people work in the cold all day. I suppose as long as you have one during a nice day then it probably won't matter. We've had some nice days that were in the 40s.

I think last weekend was in the 40's here too, but it rained so it still wasn't a great weekend. You are right though some just don't mind this cold at all. Not me! I hate it! Thanks for the response!

It is funny you mention that about a garage sale store! I have been thinking about doing that since, oh...about a year or more now. I just haven't done it considering I see it as another second hand store and around here there is a bit of competition so I don't know how well it would do, but I never thought about putting quarter on the price of things. That would just turn out even better I think! I have also thought if I did it that way then I would have to charge tax as well, wouldn't I? I don't want to deal with that. I just need to act on my thoughts, I have a problem with thinking alot and not actually doing. Thanks for the comment!
