and I'm on it. Earlier today I put up a discussion. I don't think that it was my most erudite or profound one, but I was happy with it. A few hours later I came to myLot and discovered that I had not received a single response! I am in the fortunate position that someone always makes a comment but on this occasion there was nothing! Then I remembered. I had typed the discussion out but not posted it! I am losing it aren't I? I am on that slope! Care to join me?

Hi p1key,
We all get like that sometime, like last Thursday when I shut the door behind me and left the keys inside, yep, I locked myself out, I think our brians are working too fast and sometimes we just forget the things that is important, well in my case it was, cost me some money for the locksmith, lol! hugs.

Hi p1key,
I would have waited for Malcolm but the only problem was, he doesn't finihed work till late around 11. p.m at night also he didn't have his house keys on him, but this locksmith was very knid to me and as I gived him a hug, he only charged me £35s, with the help of my neighbour I managed to get the money together. Hugs.

pikey we both seem to be losing it, I fell asleep sitting here and was going to write a comment to response on my discussion, and woke up to realize it was not my discussion I was on, it was someone else's and I had already written my response. lol lol.felt a bit silly to say the least. so I was on that same slope and snoozing. the silly thing is usually if I fall asleep here I bump my key board and it crashes into my lap. then my roomie looks over and says i told you to take a nap. grrrr. I do not do naps in the day time. she naps in the morning, she naps in the noon, then bit@hs that she cannot sleep at night.ggggrrrrrr. but she thinks she has to tell me in the middle of the night how she cannot sleep.grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Oh my goodness, can I ever relate. We all do it so don't beat yourself up too badly over it. At least you figured out what you did eventually.

P1key, did you see what thea09 posted? She said it WAS posted, then it was deleted! Why in the world would it have been deleted??? I didn't see it, but unless you got into a really dark, scary part of your personality (not that you have one) and posted something shocking and appalling, I'm sure the deletion was done in error.
And, in answer to your question, oh honey, lemme tell ya, I'm right there with you. I often wonder how it is that I manage to get through a day without some disaster caused by my brainfog. Geez, I'm too young for senility, but too old to ignore my um, lapses, if you know what I mean.
So, let's break out the gin! Shoot, break out the whole shebang. We're not alone in our happy, fuzzy little world. Make mine a Cossack, please.

HUH?
What did I miss?
I forget stuff all the time. Don't worry about it, my dear. Just take it in stride. I know I do. If it was important enough, you'll remember it again later and do the deed anyway, just a bit later, is all.

Already there, luv. I told my grandson I was making him a pea sandwich when I meant to say chip butty. I also thought he said he was being one of his grandads onions and helping him with his game, he said minions and I thought he said he wanted to be an elevator when he grew up, he wants to be an inventor. So we'll happily slide down the slope together.

I noticed you realised that me using the word 'luv' was another symptom.

That is funny! I guess you cut/paste after typing it in notepad or a word document? I just type it here.
It's strange the things we choose to remember and those we choose to forget. My memory isn't what it used to be and I do sometimes think I did something when I didn't, or I forget that I've already done something. It's rather scary!

I write my responses offline then post when I am online later on. Quite regularly I get huffed as I haven´t received a response to something I wrote, only to realise that it´s still sitting in my drafts folder.
You´re welcome to join me at the bottom of my slippery slope. It´s quite nice here once you get used to it.

Hey p1key! Don't worry! It's gonna be alright! Now I see this
discussion and I'm responding! Haven't had much time today to
get here yet! Not like I had anything to do, but my next door
neighbor has been popping in and can't seem to get much done
between her stopping by and my other wacko friend calling me
every ten minutes on the phone! For someone who had no life I
sure get bothered alot and have no time for myself! How do you
thing I should deal with this! I would like to ignore the phone
and the door, but neither of these friends give up! They are
both relentless and I can't seem to become invisible and deaf!

I have done that!! And not just once! It's just so embarassing. And after all the time and trouble you went through to get ready to go, and the hassle of just getting there! Ach! What to do?
