good or bad in nature lover?

would you prefer a partner that is really good in nature, or would you prefer a partner who's somewhat bad in nature?.many of my friends are telling me that it is good to have one that is bad, or had gone astray at first coz you could always change the personality of a person and if that person really loves you, he/she would change for you. and they told me also that its a challenging one if you had a bad-boy type lover. is it fine like for you that its looks like that?. or you would directly go find yourself a good in nature lover? :)
