I like to plan things but I don't much anymore! Like you said, the plans always change and nothing works out the way you wanted so why bother?

I used to make plans all the time for every week end and there was always things that io had to change as there were other things that i needed to go or places i had to be or there would be people that turn up that spoilt my plans.I think that this weekend has sort of half been planned as there are things that i want to do as well as things that need to be done.I have ensured that there is alot less house work as i have kept up with it all week as well as kept up with other things that i do of a weekend. We hope to have a chill out weekend.

Making half plans seems to be the right way to do it. If you do make plans, they are not set in stone. If you are going to a wedding or something that you have to RSVP to, then those plans are final!

well, as a single person, I don't make many plans on weekends... If I do, then they pretty much are set in stone. I like the freedom to take off on a moments notice if I want and making plans kind of stop that mind you, that's not taking off out of town or anything, just the climbing in the car and going some place if I want to - store, library, whatever

I know what you mean.I have children so there is always something going on so i try to make a few plans of things todo as that way there is less chance of them being spoilt.I now do somethings on the spare of the moment as that way there is no chance of anyone spoiling the instant plans i make then.I find that there are always people that turn up unanounced as well which also spoils our plans as well.

I will make plans like going to stay with my Son and Daughter for a week, or like the Move at the moment and yes they work, but when the Children where little the plans did not always work but I still made them and if they worked then that was great if not it was a bit disappointing

I try to get all of the washing as well as all the other house work done during the week as then that gives me more time to spend with the children as well as with my husband.I try to ensure that we can all do the things that we all enjoy as well as have time to relax and talk all together rather than rushing around and people turning up to see us all the time.

Well I rarely make plans for the weekend because I usually have nothing to do on a weekend anyway .I usually let it play out spontaneously and by that I mean that I will basically stay at home and surf the net and talk to my friends and mylot .Oh and watch television

I rarely make plans for the weekends, actually I do not like to make plan for anything,we don't know what will happen after we make a plan, and in fact, things are always changing, which makes the plan are not suitable any more or they could not be done as design.

I think all the times that i have made plans, someone some how has messed them up, but every weekend we do try to spend as much time as we can talking and playing games with our children.

Sometimes we make plans, sometimes we don't. On the weekends when we don't have plans, we just make a list of things we want to do, and then we go do them. This weekend we have plans, since it's my birthday, and there will be a party at Mom's house on Saturday. Can't wait!!

I used to be a total planner . . . I had to make a plan and stick to it - and it drove me nuts if I had to change them (I wasn't exactly spontaneous!). But now with two kids, I try to stick to a plan, but I don't get bent out of shape if things don't happen as planned. Unexpected things happens with kids, so what can I say - I have to be more flexible these days.

Thanks for BR, jugsjugs! Every week my baby son keeps changing his routine or something totally unexpected happens . . . so most definitely I have to keep flexible. This is soooo not me, but I have a feeling that's they way it's going to be for a while! I'm throwing out my daily planner - hee hee.

I really rarely make plans for the weekend; just if there's a concert I want to go to or if a movie I really want to see opens. Otherwise, I just kind of relax and do nothing or wait for things to come up. w

I always plan for my rest day. Most of the time we go to the mall, watch a movie and then dine out. Sometimes we go out of town with some close friends. We usually go to the beach. Sometimes the plan does not work like for some reason someone cancelled and decided not to come or due to sudden change in weather.

Sometimes we make plans to do things, especially if the girls; who are both away at college; are going to be home and have expressed that they want to go out to dinner or to a movie. Many times though, we just make it a point to spend a quite weekend at home, playing a board game, or watching reruns on television.

I used to plan the weekends always. Most of the time only half will work and other half will change. The half compulsory which will work is the mass in the church. We never miss a mass on a sunday whatever it may be the reason. But the planning after the mass will always change. Then also we will plan the next weekend.

When younger, I always had some sort of special or different plans for the weekends. These days, sometimes I make plans and sometimes not, but I seldom go out. I still feel, though, that weekends are special and set apart, as one can move at a slower pace or catch up with people who work all week. Some of my relatives work weekends too though as they are in the health care field. karen

I sometimes have solid plans for the weekend, but most of the time we do things spur of the moment because that seems to work out better for us since it seems like something always changes when I have concrete plans. We do always make sure that we are doing something together as a family during the weekend, but it isn't always what we had intended to do when the weekend began. For example, today we just decided spur of the moment to go visit some friends of ours that we hadn't seen in quite some time.

We do everything on the fly because we are always at a hockey event for the kids. so you can't really plan anything.

i do make plans for weekends. play basketball, or other games that requires and promotes physical wellness. i do watch movies, plan first what are we going to watch. and other leisure activities to get away from stress and make bonding with friends and love ones.
