Deborah McDonald, 47, was hit by a car on her way home from celebrating her winnings. She won over 5,000 dollars in the Ohio Lottery's Cash Explosion Game Show. She had treated her husband and friends to dinner and had also brought wedding rings for both her and her husband since the couple were not able to afford them earlier. Is this just how life is though. One minute everything is great and then you end up with something bad happening that will change your life forever. I will never understand why this happens. Its like we have spurts of happiness but for the most part its just living in hell. Now the husband is alone and most likely lost, not believing what has happened. So sad!

It is a very sad story. You just never know when your time is up.

I would rather go quick. I would hate to suffer with a long illness. It would be awful for me and for my loved ones.

Oh, my! That was so sad! Why life is so unfair? I can't think of words to say. Life is really very unpredictable and unjust, you can never know when your time is up. My heart goes for the bereaved husband. So sorry about this has got to happen.

Yes happiness and stress free for maybe a day then she is gone. I feel so bad for the husband. I just can't imagine what he is going thru.

God this is sooo sad. It's so depressing to even think of it. Whenever I hear of things like this, my belief in a supreme being always gets shaken. And yeah, I don't understand why these things happen or if there's something we can do for it not to happen (like practising Feng Shui maybe?) - yeah it's funny, but seriously, it isn't.

That is sad; real sad. At least she was on a good note when she left this earth though. but to get into a car accident that's just sad and my thoughts and prayers go to her family and friends that mourn her.

Someone else said that at least her last hours on earth were happy one. Not everyone can seriously say that.

I have always heard about the lottery curse and to me it is so scary. I mean 5,000 dollars is not a whole lot however it is so sad to hear something like this happened. Her family I am sure is sad about it and my prayers go to them now in this time of need.

I agree but it had to be alot for them since they couldn't afford wedding bands. Its a real shame. May her soul rest in peace.

Dang, that sucks. Reminds me of that guy from Final Destination that won then was impaled by a ladder.
