Anyone have watched this j-drama? It's an old family drama but I was only able to watch it recently. It's been in my list of "j-dramas to watch" for a long time and it wasn't one of my priorities because the plot summary in wikipedia didn't seem much interesting.^^;; I put it in my list because of Hayami Mokomichi by the way.^^
And I was really glad that I watched this show. It's very funny and the story was nice. It revolves around the Sakurai family, the mother Harue and her three sons, Tatsuya, Riku and Junpei. Their father died when they were young and while Harue was working, Tatsuya took care of her brothers and became the breadwinner of their family when he got a job. I can't describe how I enjoyed this movie but the sure thing is, it made me inspired, it made me laugh so I hard I cried, and it made me cry.^^ It also made me wished that I was part of that family. It seems so fun to be a part of them.^^
I am really recommending every Jdorama fan out there to watch this.^^ And Tatsuya is so gorgeous!!! I got obsessed with Tamayama Tetsuji after watching this show. LOL

I have watched the live action version of Zettai Kareshi! Hayami Mokomichi plays Night. I loved that series even though I don't like the actress who played the lead.^^ I cried over that drama.^^;; I also watched its special. I didn't know that it was based on a manga created by Yuu Watase. I used to like Fushigi Yuugi but I lost interest towards the end.

The anime character for me would be Night Tenjou from Yuu Watase's Zettai Kareshi.^_^ He is more of a manga character really but there is a live action drama series based on this manga. Yes, he does look like Tamahome from Fushigi. They are from the same author after all.

I got a little tired of K-drama. I used to watch a lot of them before. But most of them have lots and lots of episodes! The series is too long and there's so many twists. The twists seem so never-ending, the problems for the protagonist seem to not end. And the plot almost always is centered on the love story of two persons. It's always like that so I got tired of it.
I prefer J-dramas because love story is not always the main theme of the plot. There's friendship, family, work, and other things. And they are usually short. I mean, the shortest series I watched only have ten episodes. And sometimes the series is followed by a special which is like a movie where the story continues.

Secretbear, where have you been? This is the first notification I have had from you in a long, long time. I do not think we can see that program where I live, but you make it sound wonderful. Moco is cute but Tamayama Tetsuji sizzles, eh?
