Have you ever had a fractured wrist?

The reason I ask is I might have fractured mine.
I fell over playing netball - D'oh!
I went to A&E, got my wrist xrayed, but they are still not sure if it fractured or not... I have to go back in a couple of weeks for more xrays and maybe a cat scan.
I hope it's just a bad sprain, as I don't want to be in plaster for 8 weeks.
So I was wondering, if you have fractured your wrist, how much did it hurt? The first couple of days, was really bad, but this morning if feels a lot better. Am I right in hoping that might mean it's just a sprain?
Thanks
Moosie

My favorite sport is tennis. I have been playing for quite a time already. Luckily, I never suffered any injuries by playing such game or other games that I am into. Perhaps I may consider myself lucky. I am also into Arnis which requires a lot more movement by hand. Although I did suffer some swellings during practice but no fractures.

You are very lucky! I think I have been too - I used to roller skate for about 6 years and have been playing netball for 7 or 8 years and this is the first injury I've had, so I think I've done pretty well!
What is Arnis? I've never heard of that before...
