Nowadays, I think students are more dependent on what the internet offers them. Most of the time, they do their research works no longer on books in libraries but already in internet. I just wonder if we must be thankful for this or we must blame the internet for making our youth lazy and dependent. As for me, when I was a student, I stay late in our library doing projects and researches. I wish that internet was available during those times. lol

It used to be a great resource when I was in high school. Now that I'm in college, everything we do is so advanced that I can't find anything on the internet that could help me and I have to rely solely on textbooks. I use internet only to waste time on social networks.

I don't think we should feel sorrow for kids gaining new experience from internet. From my point of view, internet gives us no limit accessing data in the whole world. But, nothing beats text books especially the ones in library. I can say that, because text books give us formal theory which cannot be accessed much at the internet, because it's formal. Well, actually, we can access it all. But we need other resources such as money, membership and others. Without that, I don't think that internet ever beats text books in terms formal theory. I only can say that internet and text books run in different distinct way of giving us information, and they're both amazingly important.

Yes, of course internet is the best place not only for students but also for all age groups. As a student, I use internet for all my projects, songs, lyrics, etc., and even for mylot.I think in this generation more than 70% of the people use internet at least for 2 hours.
