Harry Potter Fans... Guys, what is your favorite Harry Potter CREATURE?

The first ever book series I've finished was that of J.K. Rowling Harry Potter! I got so attached to it that I had to read the books again and again for some time. One reason why I loved 'em so much is the fact that the creatures in the stories (both magical and mythical) were made like so REAL. Jeesh! Got loads of those creatures in the books.
Personally, I was so amazed with the existence of the VEELAs in the series. They were like my real favorites not only because they sure were gorgeous but because they resembled some mythical creatures here in the Philippines... Very similar characteristics. They were also tempting. It just made me feel like such creatures are like us humans, that's with different races. LOL... Very realistic. ^_^
Hmm... How about for those who have finished reading HP books (at least one or two of the series)? What is/are your favorite HP creature/s? Why? And do you have similar creatures "believed" to be existing in your country?

I was amazed with the apearance of the Veelas too. They are the most beautiful and interesting creature. I was really surprise on how graceful they are in the way they move and in everything. They are like fairies in the stories that I've read.

I guess I'd like the Veelas, while they might be half human in mythology, they're just beautiful women to me in the HP movies. LOL
If I had to choose a favourite creature... it'll probably be the house elf Doby. :D More because of his loyalty and funny attitude than his appearance. As for appearance and/or power, I'd go for the dementors or the Dragons.

I'd like a hippogriff, it's a bit cooler than just having a flying horse. Not that I would mind having a flying horse, but the hippogriff was quite cute.
And I really like Hermiones cat, but then I like all cats. Having an owl wouldn't be bad either but I pass on the dragon.

Hahaha... Yeah, I remembered buckbeak! Very gentlemanly when tamed. Just that it's also dangerous. ^_^ Hedwig's cool as well. Dragons are... hmm... SMOKY! ^_^ ahaha

I kinda don't like the dementors. Ahahah.. They are really scary. ^_^ Nonetheless, I really appreciate the existence of such creatures in the story as villains. Wow like lost and hungry souls! Chillss.... _

I really love harry potter, and admire author's books. I'm both reading book and watching movie. the first time i read harry potter in Vietnamese and now i'm reading these in English. though it's difficult for me, I still try to finish these.

I personally like veelas like you. They are seductive and beautiful, yet also dangerous. The beauty they possess and the power they have over people is beautifully constructed and I like being able to manipulate that like in fan fiction.

my favorite harry potter creature is the hinkypunk... also known as will-o'-the-wisp... its cute... lol... like saint elmos fire...
