how tough is to teach your 4-5 year child A B C D or your local language letter

sometimes it is really fun sometimes so irritating. some kid are so naughty and most of child dont want write or read. its really hard time when i sit with my sister's kid to teach him a b c d... his writing is so funny that sometime i laugh at loud.
he writes everything up side down... lol
