OK so I am potty training my son he wasn't doing to good but yesterday and the day before he is starting to go pee in the potty every time! only one pee accident yesterday. He did poop in the potty once yesterday but had one accident with that as well but told me about it. So yay for my boy!

HI,
how old is your boy? this is good, I meant it is a good start though. I have 18 months and I am trying potty train her too but sometimes she tells and sometimes she doesn't...

He is 2 and 1/2. My niece lives with us as well and she is almost 3 and potty trained and he has to go every time she does so I told her she need to tell me when she has to go so I can take him to working so far.

congratulations to both of you. My son who is now 7 first started to potty train around 18 months and the lost interest for about a year, but then it was fairly easy and he never wet the bed unless he was sick. I heard that it is sometimes easier with older child around.

Good for you both! I've been working on it with my son as well. So far he is doing okay. he won't tell me if he has an accident though. You'd think he wouldn't like sitting in his own poop, but he'll go and then just keep playing. One day he'll do good most the day and then the next day he won't do it at all. I'm not pushing the issue though since he is only 2-1/2.

I think that potty training has gotten harder with the new diapers. For awhile my son would rather keep playing than have to use the bathroom. One thing that helped with him was a type of pull up that would get cold when it got wet, which made him to uncomfortable.

You are lucky that you are making strides in the right direction with your son. I am finding it very difficult to potty train my son. He is now three years old and I am at the point now that I am not giving him a choice about it. He sleeps in a diaper but as soon as he gets out of bed in the morning it is off with the diaper and on with a pair of underwear. This to me seems to be working better than anything, but I can tell you for sure that it is more difficult to potty train a boy than it is a girl.
