No, you're not the only person.
I am utterly disinterested and would not view the film unless someone recompensed me for wasting my time. £100 would probably do it. Pay me money, and I'll watch the film - else, I'll stifle a yawn and watch something better!
I am quite astounded that people are entertained by shiny things to such a mind-boggling extent. It's all w4nk.

Great answer! Is your avatar (no pun intended) Lenine?

I do like sci-fi movies, so I had every intention of seeing it, until I saw an extended trailor, and realized that the storyline is pretty much a rip-off of Disney's Pocahontas, only targeted at adults instead of kids (read: more violence/less singing). I like Pocahontas well enough, but I don't need to spend the money to see the copy in theater.

I really like James Cameron and most of his movies, but I'm still not interested in Avatar.I really don't know why.I've heard discussions, critics, and praises about it.I've watched the trailer.Still nothing.I know I have to see it,but I'll do it later. Not now, not here.
