With all of the information I put on facebook why don't I get paid?

I post stuff to facebook everyday and I know I add value to the site, shouldn't I be able to make money off my friends and family?

Well honestly facebook alone does not pay their members in uploading pictures and posting statuses. There is an application there though that let's you earn money but facebook doesn't have anything to do with it when it comes to the issue of ownership of the said application

really dont know anything about this program..
