I do from time to time especially if I have something in my head I want to know more about. Like right now I'm day dreaming "if" we could someday afford to build a new house? or would it be cheaper to remodel & upgrade what we have? or wait it out til our subdivision is bought out wich could be up to 10 yrs down the road? What have you been day dreaming about lately?

Daydreaming is the best and probably only true form of free entertainment!! It is also great for opening yourself up for new ideas to pop in to your head that you can make into small goals to work towards. My most current daydream is to work at home. Now, this is a goal I am working towards and doing it in baby steps. If I have to wean my way out of the workforce, I will do it!! Even your daydream - it is a totally tangible one - one that you can move forward on by starting to do some research. Of course there are some daydreams that will never come true and others that are one in a million, but it is still fun to do!

I think many of us would like to work at home. There aren't too many legit opportunities unfortunatly and cottage industries are long gone as a steady means of income.

Tellme about it! I have been spending most of my days lately day dreaming about the skills I have and how I can make a business out of them! Fortunately I am not investing my whole ego on this and I am being realistic that it just may never happen! Ahh, but to daydream :)

Yes, I do daydream. I daydream quite a bit. It's something that I've enjoyed doing for quite some time. For as long as I can remember, to be honest. I like to imagine the way things might be in 5, 10, 25 years from now. Reality is that life is not always as we imagine it to be or become. But once in a while, it's fun to daydream.

I do ponder on how life will be in the future. I don't know about going out as far as 10-25yrs but usually within a few years or an overall goal.

I daydream a LOT! Usually about something I'd like to do to my house, like building a covered patio on the back of the house, finishing the attic into a room, putting a drop ceiling in the basement or other things. Now, I know I'll not be able to do any of these things but I enjoy planning them. I'll look out my window at the birds at the birdfeeder and daydream about what a nice feeding station I could make them if I could afford to do so. I daydream about traveling or going out west to visit my sons and my friends back there, what I might do if I won the lottery, visiting my mom in Florida and so many other things!

It means I guess you could say thinking about things when you are supposed to be on task of something you wish for or ponder ect. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/daydreamhttp://www.thefreedictionary.com/daydream

I daydream all the time, especially when hubby is at work all day (during the week) and I am here alone with the cat, who I DO talk to A LOT! I read somewhere that daydreaming is actually good for you and stops us from thinking negative thoughts, I suppose. I often dreamed of our kitchen being modernised...and it came true after we got married...so I know that the rest of the house will - eventually be modernised too. It all takes time (and for me to find a job) but my daydreams actually give me ideas as to what to do once I AM working. I have time to research stuff on the internet and now I have it all mapped out in my head what I want doing...but I know it will take time and I have to be patient. It WILL happen though, my dreams say so!

When I am bored I often catch myself daydreaming.
