I had a great pregnancy especially it being my first one, except toward the end. I started gaining alot of weight and didn't know why, well of course I am pregnant but I gained 25 lbs in one week, come to find out it was all fluid. I gained almost 75 lbs during pregnancy and I lost 60 lbs within 2 weeks of having her. I was very scared at the beginning of my delivery, I was so miserable I even tried Castor Oil to help start labor but all that did was give my husband the runs.... My labor was not that bad except for the epidural that keep wearing off.. I got to 6 cm and she got stuck in the birth canal so they had to do a c-section on me. I thought I would have a semi-small baby but she wound up weighing 8 lbs 8 oz.
Please share your pregnancy, labor and delivery with me..

My first pregnancy began in 1994 and I had my baby son born at home in 1995. I had a water pool for my labor. I gave birth on a bed and then had trouble getting the placenta out. I had to go to hospital in an ambulance to get in removed. That was very painful indeed. My son was 9lb and 4ozs.
My second pregnancy began in 2006 and I found out I was expecting a baby boy. All seemed to be going well until 36 weeks pregnancy when it was discovered I was having a disabled baby. My son was born in 2007 with spina bifida and hydrocephalus. He was 6lb and 11ozs. He went to hospital into the special care baby unit for three weeks. He had two operations on his back and his head.
My third pregnancy began in 2008 and I had to have extra scans to make sure my baby didn't have spina bifida. I found out I was expecting a healthy baby girl. She was born at home in 2009. I lost two and a half liters of blood and was taken off to hospital in an ambulance. She was 8 pounds.
So I has gas and air for my first birth and no pain relief for my second and third births. I like a natural and active labor. I like home births.

OMGH. I could not imagine a natural labor after having emma kate. I always said that there is a reason that god made women to have babies because if men had babies, the world would never get populated ha.

My first pregnancy went fairly well. My daughter was 8 days past her due date and I was getting impatient. So I scheduled a day to be induced, and what do you know, she decided to come the day before! lol I got to the hospital around 8am and she was born at 4:30pm. That might seen long, but it flew by! I was very surprised at how it wasn't even that painful. I was expecting terrible pain, but it wasn't that bad. The worst part of the whole process is when she was crowning!!! But when I started pushing, it wasn't that painful! I thoroughly enjoyed my pregnancy and delivery and am very excited for my next delievery which will be in less than 2 months now! :)
